We are committed in providing exceptional service in pet aftercare
and family support throughout the grieving period.
Sadly, in time, we all lose our pets to age or illness. The PAW team is here to work
with you respectfully to help make a painful time a little easier.
Our facilities offer general cremation and private cremation services. Private cremation service
will return the ashes of your beloved pet back to you. Please contact us regarding
fees for these services.
If your pet passes away at home within the Moncton area, we can arrange a pick-up
for your pet to bring them to shelter for the cremation service of your choice.

CREMATION PROCESS
We understand that families need assurance that their pets’ remains are being handled with the care and respect they deserve. It is important that families take comfort in the fact that they are receiving their pets’ remains when choosing an individual cremation.
The cremation process involves using high heat to produce cremains, commonly referred to as ashes. Pet owners can choose a communal cremation or private cremation process based on their individual preference.
The PAW crematorium is operated by an attendant who is a Certified Pet Crematory Operator.
Supplied and serviced by Matthews Cremations, our cremations are done in a new Animal Cremains Processor–Model ACP200.
COMMUNAL CREMATION
Choosing a communal cremation for your pet can have peace of mind knowing that they will be treated with dignity and respect.
During a communal cremation pets are placed into the crematory together with other pets. Please note that no remains are returned to the owner if they choose a communal cremation. Communal cremations are a very respectful way to return your pet to their natural state.
Pet owners may still consider a clay paw print in memory of their pet.
PRIVATE CREMATION PROCESS
When you have a private cremation, you can keep the ashes of your pet as a permanent and personal keepsake.
A private cremation is when the cremains are returned to the owner. We keep logs to indicate the date the animal arrives at the crematory, the location they were received from, the date the cremation occurred and the date the pet is returned to the veterinarian or owner.
The pets ashes are placed inside a black satin bag and then rest inside a black box or you can choose one of our memorial products where the ashes will be returned to you within the urn you have chosen. See Memorial Products below.

It is important to note that if a memorial product is purchased, the price of that memorial product is in addition to the price of a private cremation of the appropriate weight category.
VETERINARIAN SERVICES
PAW is happy to work together with veterinary clinics, providing professional aftercare services to their clients and pets. Veterinarian Services are offered on an individual basis. PAW would be happy to visit a clinic and explain how we can partner with your veterinary service to offer professional cremation services with a high level of accountability.
To assist pet owners in selecting an appropriate final resting place for their pets, PAW offers samples of custom urns and memorials in a thoughtfully designed display case.
